Plastpro Inc. Expands

Located locally, in Los Angeles, Plastpro Inc. continues to be a leading U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass entry doors. Plastpro's "customer-focused philosophy" has brought about a new approach to the window and door marketplace and has resulted in the company providing "the highest-quality products on the market."

Plastpro was founded in 1994 but in 2005 the company expanded their brand with the opening of their "200,000 square-foot, fully-automated plant in Ashtabula, Ohio." This new plant, when running at full capacity, will be able to produce "1 million finished doors per year." In addition to expanding the company's production offerings the plant also added a boost to the local economy by hiring 130 Ashtabula residents.

Plastpro's new factory also introduced "advanced manufacturing methods" that includes an "integrated factory computer control system." This new computer system automates tasks, which allows for "greater product consistency," as well as has enhanced employee safety and enhanced productivity 300 to 400 percent.
