Classic Grills and Registers was founded to fill a void in the artistic grill and register market. Classic Grills has over 400 patterns to cover most any size you may need with over sixty different sizes in stock for immediate delivery.

All Classic Grills supply registers have adjustable dampers installed which provide proper air control and are very important for personal comfort. This factory installed adjustable louver (damper) is screwed to the back of all air supply register faceplates. This type of installation allows for future cleaning, repair or re-finishing of the register.  Several of the air supply registers have an adjustment wheel that are simply adjusted using a pencil eraser or a small screwdriver. Classic Grills air return grills have a diffuser screen installed, a screen hides any background and a diffuser screen disperses airflow through the entire grill.

Bronze is a metal highly prized by sculptors and museums for fine art.  It is a copper alloy which is usually made from copper, silica, tin and zinc.

These bronze products are treated to simulate aged bronze.  Grills and registers will darken and change color based on their environment.  Bronze finishes subject to wear will develop highlights, accenting the finish.  Bronze exposed to air will turn brown, over an extended period of time bronze exposed to air will turn black.  When bronze is exposed to damp weather it will soon turn a shade of green.  This discoloration process is called patina.  None of these conditions are defects; they are part of the natural beauty of bronze.

At Classic Grills, every grill and register is sand-cast in solid bronze and individually poured.  Sand-casting of bronze creates more than usual distressing of the metal surface, this is an integral part of the products that produces an individual, handmade look. Some grills and air return registers may be lighter, some will be darker and some will have more marbling than others. After cleaning, a hand-fired antique patina or the oil rubbed finish of your choice is applied. The color of the grills will vary due to temperature, humidity, time in the patina bath and hand rubbing.  We strive to match finishes in a given order.  Parts ordered at a later date may not match the original finish. Every grill and register is a full quarter-inch thick. This extra thickness allows for a massive heirloom feel.
