Therma-Tru Doors

Therma-Tru Doors first introduced their Fiber-Classic doors 25 years ago, making it the first of its kind within the residential housing marketplace. While Therma-Tru's Fiber-Classic doors' look mimics the elegance of wood, they also are as sturdy and durable as steel, making them ideal for security purposes as well as energy efficient.

Therma-Tru Doors was founded in 1962 when founder David Welles bought a building supply company in Toledo, Ohio. However, it wasn't until 1982 when Therma-Tru launched their innovative Fiber-Classic doors. In September, 2009, Therma-Tru merged with Fypon, a leader in urethane millwork, which allowed for tremendous sale benefits for Fypon and more design options for Therma-Tru.

Today, Therma-Tru Doors continues to be a leader in innovation within the residential housing market. Recently, they launched their newest line of doors, which includes: Classic-Craft Canvas Collection, Vented Sidelites and Avonlea Glass Design. All of these doors are created with the Fiber-Classic technology so consumers receive the benefits of a fiberglass door.
